WineBoss is an online sales system for Australian wineries. The WineBoss online sales system is an industry solution that allows wineries to offer customers the convenience and efficiency of online ordering and payment. It is a world-class online service currently used by over 50 Australian wineries.

Web Strategy Resources designed the entire system, which provides full online ordering facilities, as well as an online, back-end administration system for both WineBoss and the wineries that use the system.

Case Study – Monahan Estate

Monahan Estate is a boutique vineyard in the Lovedale area of the Lower Hunter Valley.

Web Strategy Resources implemented a corporate website for Monahan Estate using the using the DotNetNuke framework. DotNetNuke is an open source Web application framework ideal for creating, deploying, and managing interactive websites.

The DotNetNuke framework utilises "skins" to separate the graphic design elements of the website from the content. This feature allows a Web developer to easily change the "look and feel" of the entire website at any time. The DotNetNuke framework offers a "content management system" (CMS) that allows a non-technical person to easily maintain the content of the website. This means Monahan Estate can:

  • Add/edit/delete menu items;
  • Add/edit/delete general content;
  • Add/edit/delete useful links;
  • Add/edit/delete FAQs;
  • Add/edit/delete product listings;
  • Add/edit/delete announcements (e.g. news items, upcoming events);
  • Add/edit/delete customer testimonials;
  • Accept user feedback/enquiries via a feedback/enquiry form;
  • Send personalised plain text and/or HTML email marketing messages to a subscriber list.
